My Resume
My name is Ved (pronounced "veyd") and I am currently a senior studying Mechanical Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. I have a minor in robotics and a concentration in CAD. After getting my bachelor's, I am returning to Rose-Hulman for my MEng in Mechanical Engineering.
I have a deep passion for mechanical engineering and am currently looking for a full-time role within mechanical engineering or product design. This website contains projects I have worked on as a mechanical engineering student. If you have any questions or wish to contact me, head to my contact page or connect with me on LinkedIn below!

During the 2024 summer and fall, I was a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Teradyne in Los Angeles, CA. Throughout my time I used SolidWorks very extensively, from making automated cycling fixtures to prototyped instruments to custom Toolbox fasteners. My main project was manufacturing a modular test bench fixture so engineers could test and prototype instruments without the risk of damaging multi-million dollar equipment. I took ownership for designing, documenting, manufacturing, assembling, and verificating the fixture from start to finish. Other projects included coordinating and conducting DV tests to make an existing system more sustainable, and creating a database for tens of thousands of production fasteners.
During the 2023 summer, I was a Powerplant Engineering Intern at United Airlines in Chicago, IL. During my time, I was responsible for the maintenance, overhaul, and research of the V2500 engines used on the Airbus 319/320. When engines would decommission, it was my job to analyze and route their maintenance, which included on-site engine visits nationally and globally. I also conducted research into various faulty components of V2500 using Excel and Palantir to research how and when damages occurred and develop mitigating actions to reduce maintenance costs.
During the 2022 summer, I was a Mechanical Research Intern at Georgia Tech Research Institute in Tucson, AZ. During my time, I was responsible for designing various mechanical projects for aircraft usage. My main project was a storage system for the Air Natural Guard to store ECM pods. I used SolidWorks for its design and FEA software to analyze how it would handle a load of 10 tons. I also worked on QRIP assemblies for installation in F-16 and A-10 cockpits and on a SolidWorks & Excel hardware fasteners library for the Air Force Reserve base. My experience with SolidWorks during this internship helped me pass the Certified SolidWorks Professional exam.
Before my internship at Georgia Tech, I worked at Boson Motors in Livermore, CA, as a Testing & Validation Intern. During this time, I assisted with code reviews and performed QA testing for an electric truck's autonomous driving using Python. I also did work with a technician and helped integrate mechanical and data collection instruments onto the truck.
